City Accepting Volunteers for My Benbrook Mile Program

City Accepting Volunteers for My Benbrook Mile Program

The City of Benbrook is encouraging residents to consider volunteering for the My Benbrook Mile Program. By adopting a mile of roadway or parkland, your group helps keep our community litter-free and beautiful!

Participating individuals or groups self-monitor a city park or roadway, and plan clean-up efforts around the availability of the group. Groups may plan monthly or quarterly clean-up events, or as the area dictates. City staff can provide limited supplies of trash bags, gloves, and vests, as needed.

Once a My Benbrook Mile location has been formally adopted, signage will be erected recognizing the group’s participating in the program.

For more information and to receive an assigned area for clean-up, contact Alex Busken at
817-249-6008 or email:
abusken@benbrook-tx.gov.

Thank you for considering participating in the My Benbrook Mile Program!
