Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for photos from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at the Benbrook Community Center/YMCA, 1899 Winscott Road. Photos are $5 and free refreshments will be served. For more information, call 817-249-0500. The fun continues the next night with our annual Fireworks Show and Christmas Tree Lighting. Santa and Mrs. Claus also will make an appearance, riding in on a fire truck. New this year will be our "Winter Wonderland" of trees with lights that "dance" to music. The event is FREE admission and local nonprofits will be selling hot cocoa, popcorn, and glow items. Both nights, the Benbrook Fire Department will be accepting donations of canned goods and money.
