Covid-19 Business Resources

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has impacted how business is being done throughout the world. Following is a list of resources that may be helpful to Benbrook businesses and organizations.

BEDC’s Temporary Sign Program

In an effort to assist Benbrook businesses and organizations through this difficult time, the Benbrook Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) is offering a special reimbursement program to pay for temporary signage.

As Benbrook restaurants determine how to best move forward to offer drive-through, curbside, and/or delivery services, the BEDC would like to assist. For any business considered essential by Tarrant County Order dated 3/24/20, restaurant or not, that would like to place temporary portable signs or banners at their place of business, as a way to promote their services, the BEDC is willing to pay for that signage, within reason, in the form of a reimbursement.

The City of Benbrook is temporarily easing sign regulations to allow businesses to place additional signage to include temporary portable signs or banners at their place of business. At this time, the City is not requiring sign permits for these type signs.
