Recycling Options

The City of Benbrook offers several options for recycling or discarding of special items (other than residential curbside and commercial):

Ammunition & Explosives

Bring to the Benbrook Fire Station, 528 Mercedes, Benbrook.

Electronic Waste (E-Waste)

1. In addition to the E-waste collection trailer available at the twice annual Household Hazardous Waste events, Benbrook offers periodic, stand-alone electronic (E-waste) collection events. These events are free to Benbrook residents and often include a document-shredding truck. Check the City’s website calendar or news/announcements for upcoming events.

2. If you miss an electronic recycling event, you may recycle any electronic equipment, including televisions, computers/monitors/printers, appliances, gaming systems, vacuum cleaners, VCR’s, etc. by taking these items directly to Innovative Electronics Recycling at 404 Commerce Street, Azle, Texas. Or call 817-901-6040 or 817-304-6198 to arrange for home pick-up.

3. For free Computer Recycling for Personal and Home-Based Business Computer Equipment.
